1. Call Alderman Burnett at 312 432 1995 and ask him to cancel the selective enrollment high school formerly known as Obama Prep. Talking points:

"I am a CPS parent. Please cancel Obama Prep. We cannot afford this TIF funded project when our schools are being cut to the bone. Please surplus the funds for this project."

***We hear Burnett's office is asking people to send an email: wburnett@cityofchicago.org

2. Call Mayor Rahm Emanuel at 312 744 3300 and ask him to cancel the selective enrollment high school formerly known as Obama Prep. Talking points:

“Our schools are being hit with another $100M in cuts while there is unallocated TIF money sitting in accounts that could be sent back to CPS. Join us for a press conference and rally before the city council budget committee votes on the TIF surplus resolution. We need TIF funds to be surplused now and for our electeds to find sustainable solutions for next school year.”
